SEG 5-1: Meet the Man who Gave his Life to CS Lewis’ Legacy   

Walter Hooper died last week at the age of 89. While his name may not be well-known, his work certainly is. As a young man he worked as a secretary for CS Lewis, and after Lewis’ death he dedicated his career to making Lewis’ work more accessible to the public. Joseph Pearce shares more on his work.

SEG 5-2: Experience Christendom’s Best Week Ever

“The Best Week Ever” is a bold statement. When one hears it, the first thought might be of a lavish family vacation—not a college’s summer program. And yet, these are the key words participants of the Experience Christendom Summer Program use time and again when describing the transformative time they spent in Virginia for one week—a week that provided them with the faith-filled educational experience they needed during such a formative time in their lives. Sam Phillips has more.

Sam Phillips has been the Director of Admissions for Christendom College since July 2014. Prior to that, he served as Director of Admissions at The Avalon School in Maryland, as well as a teacher, baseball coach, and extra-curricular event organizer. He is a 2008 history major graduate of Christendom College, and while a student, was active in the drama club, the baseball team, and was a counselor for the Experience Christendom Summer Program.

SEG 5-3: Xavier Becerra Nominated to Lead HHS – What Catholics Need to Know  

Yesterday the Electoral College officially declared Joe Biden the winner of the election and his transition team continues to work to fill his Cabinet.
