Veritatis Splendor at 30 – Can we Know Truth?

In Mel Gibson’s The Passion, Pilate famously asks Jesus “What is Truth?” Humans have long been skeptical about our ability to know Truth, but Christianity has always insisted we can find it through Faith and Reason. Steven Long joins us with more.  

Dr. Steven Long is Professor of Theology at Ave Maria University. He received his B.A. and M.A. in Philosophy from the University of Toledo, his Ph.D. in Philosophy from the Catholic University of America and is an Ordinarius at the Pontifical Academy of St. Thomas Aquinas (at the Vatican). He is a theologian and philosopher who has been teaching with distinction at Ave Maria University for over 18 years.
