What does Plato have to do with our own faith?

What does Plato have to do with the Christian faith? Quite a bit, it turns out. In ways that might surprise us, Christians throughout the history of the church and even today have inherited aspects of the ancient Greek philosophy of the man who learned from Socrates and taught Aristotle. Louis Markos helps us understand.

Louis Markos is the author most recently of Atheism on Trial: Refuting the Modern Arguments against God. He’s a professor of English and scholar in residence at Houston Christian University, formerly Houston Baptist University, and has delivered hundreds of lectures worldwide on topics such as apologetics, CS Lewis, and Dante. His many other books include Apologetics for the 21st Century.
