A quick bio of the wonderful school you are supporting: St. Sebastian Catholic School is located in a residential area in the suburban community of Dearborn Heights, drawing students from across all of Wayne County.
A third generation of children is now enjoying the legacy of the faith and family tradition begun by the people of St. Sebastian Catholic Parish in 1952. The Franciscan Sisters of St. Joseph of Hamburg, New York, have staffed the school from the beginning and continue to serve along with highly qualified lay teachers.
St. Sebastian Catholic School curriculum covers the core content areas of Reading, English, Literature, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, as well as Christ-centered environment with daily classes on Religion. The school emphasizes the basic fundamental skills of phonics, cursive handwriting, spelling, public speaking, grammar and composition, computers and keyboarding, while integrating technology into all subject areas. The curriculum is further enriched by providing physical education, art, music, and Spanish classes for Grades 1-8.
