The Man of the Shroud Touring Exhibit

The Center for the Study of the Passion of Christ and the Holy Shroud has developed a moving and informative mobile exhibit on the Shroud of Turin.
The centerpiece of the exhibit is a full-length canvas replica of the Shroud. Learn more by viewing 60 displays detailing historical and scientific information as well as a DVD that offers additional exploration into the authenticity of the Shroud. Meditate in front of the Corpus of the Crucified Christ showing the wounds per Gospel accounts and as shown on the Shroud. Location: St. Kieran’s gymnasium. Allow 2 hours for this self-guided tour.
There will also be an information presentation on the Shroud of Turin by Deacon Bob Tremmel from the Archdiocese of Detroit on Tues., March 21, at 7:00 PM in the Solanus Casey meeting room. Deacon Bob will deal with 120 years of Shroud research including the carbon dating controversy, the most up-to-date scientific research, and the astounding conclusions that can be drawn from this data. Deacon Bob is a Scripture scholar, research chemist, and life-long Shroud enthusiast.
