Right to Life High School Oratory Contest Downriver

The Annual High School Pro-Life Oratory Contest will be held at the Southgate Veteran’s Memorial Library on March 17, 2018. Local Downriver and Dearborn affiliates of Right to Life of Michigan sponsor the local contest with prizes for first, second, and third places of $100, $50, and $25 respectively. Local winners will advance to the state and national contests with additional prizes.
Students in grades 9-12 interested in participating in the contest can call 734-287-4583 or email wyandotterlm@gmail.com. The entry deadline is March 12, 2018.
Speeches should be 5 to 7 minutes long on a pro-life topic of Abortion, Embryonic Stem Cell Research (or Cloning), Euthanasia, or Infanticide. Students are welcome to research at www.rtl.org or visit the Right to Life of Michigan Resource Center Monday through Friday, 9 am to 4:30 pm, located at 2010 Eureka in Wyandotte (734-282-6100).
