Corpus Christi: The Eucharist: Source & Summit of Our Faith

May 28, 2016 @ 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

FREE

The Feast of Corpus Christi, (the Feast of the Body of Christ), dates back to the 13th century. However, it celebrates something far older: the Institution of the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist at the Last Supper. This Eucharistic sacrifice is “the source and summit of the Christian life.” Join us for this incredible opportunity to deepen our faith, learn more about God’s mercy, and grow in knowledge and love of the Body and Blood of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
International retreat leader and one of the foremost Catholic authors of our time with over one million copies sold in 24 languages, Fr. Jacques Philippe’s writings on themes such as prayer, interior freedom, and peace of heart have become classics of modern Catholic spirituality. In recent years, he has devoted himself primarily to spiritual direction and preaching retreats.
No registration is required. No charge: free will offering.
Mass, continental breakfast, 2 talks by Fr. Jacques Philippe, hour of Eucharist Adoration.
Sponsored by the Real Presence Apostolate of Michigan. A portion of the Vatican Exhibition of the Eucharistic Miracles of the World will be on display.
