CONSTITUTION CELEBRATION DINNER

Michigan’s attorney general and house speaker are featured as the Defenders of the Constitution at next week’s Constitution Celebration Dinner at All Saints Banquet Center, 24900 Brest Road in Taylor (view map at https://www.google.com/maps/place/42°13’11.2″N+83°16’39.7″Wfirstname.lastname@example.org,-83.2817853,16z/). The Congress of the Confederation dissolved itself on March 4, 1789, on the day the first session of the Congress of the United States began. The Confederation Congress had forwarded the new Constitution to each state, with each state legislature to call elections for a Federal Convention to ratify the new Constitution. Those coming to the 5:30-10 p.m. EST Monday event will get light Hors d’oeurvres and wine and reserved seating at the 5:30 p.m. Meet & Greet, and dinner will serve at 7 p.m. a selection of entrees, vegetables, pasta and salad. In the portion of the evening devoted to Bill Schuette and Tom Leonard, Leonard is to provide an update on the state House’s upcoming schedule.
