Community Kick-Off Event to Celebrate Launch of New Poverty Reduction Program

June 6, 2017 @ 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Free

Friends in Deed warmly invites the public to attend the kick-off event of its newest program, Circles Washtenaw County, on June 22, 2017 (7:00) at the Ypsilanti Historic Freighthouse in Depot Town. Circles is a volunteer-driven program designed to permanently lift families out of poverty to achieve economic independence. Here to usher in the program is Circles USA Founder and CEO, Scott C. Miller. He will explain why this poverty reduction is crucially needed here in Ypsi, and lead a panel discussion of other Circles affiliates from around the country to share their stories of how Circles has impacted their communities.
For more information, contact Circles Program Coordinator Suzanne Van Dam at: [email protected] or calling 734-340-9042.
