Fr. Jacob Bertrand Janczyk talks about Ascension Catholic Classics and the Confessions.
Fr. Jacob-Bertrand Janczyk, O.P. is a Dominican friar of the Province of Saint Joseph, which ministers in the Dominican tradition to the Northeastern portion of the United States, and is also the pastor of St. Denis Catholic Church in Hanover, NH.
After graduating from Marist College with a degree in biomedical science, Fr. Jacob-Bertrand joined the novitiate for the Dominicans and was ordained as a priest in the Dominican Order in 2017.
From there, he went on to work with college students at Dartmouth College, serving as assistant chaplain and then as director of vocations for the Province of Saint Joseph from 2018-2022.
In addition to co-hosting Ascension’s new podcast, Catholic Classics, Fr. Jacob-Bertrand is also a host of the popular Dominican podcast, Godsplaining.

Monica Yatooma encourages us to stand up and speak up for our children.
Monica Yatooma is a wife and business owner born and raised right here in Michigan. She proudly graduated from Oakland University with a BA in psychology and now runs a very successful medical waste business alongside her husband that operates state wide. Most importantly, Monica is a mother of 3 beautiful children and standing up for them over the last few years has led her to be a fierce advocate in Michigan education as she co-founded the non-profit, Great Schools Initiative, where she serves as the Director of Partner Relations. Monica has extensive fundraising and community outreach experience and this experience has helped her to grow GSI and become the successful movement in education that it is today.
