Kristin Olmedo talks about United Community Family Services/ Chaldean American Ladies of Charity (UCFS/CALC). 

Kristin Olmedo joined United Community Family Services/ Chaldean American Ladies of Charity (UCFS/CALC) as its new president and CEO in June 2021. Kristin is responsible for the oversight and strategic direction of UCFS/CALC’s services to more than 10,000 people annually in metro Detroit. Kristin has dedicated her career to the care of others. She is a vastly experienced nonprofit executive who brings a lifelong passion and commitment to those less fortunate in our community. Prior to joining UCFS/CALC, Kristin was the Director of Development of Grace Centers of Hope, Pontiac, Mich. where she advanced through several positions including Director of Financial and Business Operations of Grace Centers of Hope. Kristin is a powerful force in the workplace and uses her positive attitude and tireless energy to encourage others to work hard and succeed. A resident of Clarkston, Mich., Kristin earned her bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Oakland University. In her free time, she likes to travel with her husband, watch soccer and spend time with her nephew and niece.

Deacon Fred Billotto invites us to participate in Mercy in Action Day of Service.

Fred Billotto is assigned to Our Lady of Victory. He is married to Serena (Capace) and the couple have five children: Daniel, Robert, Jenna, Lauren and Joseph; and six grandchildren: Jack, Anthony, Josie, Carina, Leo, Isla

Fred was born in Detroit and attended St. Andrew High School in Detroit before graduating from the University of Detroit Mercy with a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering in 2003.

Mary Martin talks about Called & Gifted.

Mary Martin, MSP Coach, Missionary Strategic Planning

After 15 years in pastoral planning and organizational leadership, Mary accepted a position as Coach & Team Leader in the Department of Missionary Strategic Planning with the Archdiocese of Detroit. A certified Spiritual Director, she sits on the board of Mary’s Mantle a Catholic Home for Expectant Mothers and coordinates the Called and Gifted Process, helping disciples discern their spiritual gifts. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Pastoral Studies, (MAPS) from Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit. Enjoying all the seasons of Michigan, this mother of two adult children (and gramma of four), spends time traveling, cooking and transforming sacred spaces.
