Secretary St. Mary Church, North Branch I am a cradle Catholic but after I left home at 18 I fell away from the church. I sporadically went to church and after a while I stopped going altogether. I am married to Wilson Almand, anniversary Nov 15, 1980 (42 years this year). We were both in the military (he Marines and I Navy). We have 2 children, Joe (Christine) and Elissa (Josh), and 6 grandchildren. I was an RN, specialized in Labor and Delivery, for 28 years and 3 years in Hospice. I retired from nursing this past December. I now work part time in the church office. I was born and raised here in Michigan (I was gone for 40 years) and now live in the home I grew up in. I now attend the church, St Mary’s Burnside, that my family has gone to since the 1930’s. I had a conversion moment in 2018 around Easter, which brought me back to Michigan. I have been a strongly devoted Catholic ever since. I have had several spiritual experiences over the last 4 years, I saw Jesus twice, and I feel I was divinely inspired to restore the rosary walk.
