Mary Martin from ULG at work talks about Equipped for Mission Conference and more.

 

 

Mary Martin ,MSP Coach, Missionary Strategic Planning
After 15 years in pastoral planning and organizational leadership, Mary accepted a position as Coach & Team Leader in the Department of Missionary Strategic Planning with the Archdiocese of Detroit. A certified Spiritual Director, she sits on the board of Mary’s Mantle a Catholic Home for Expectant Mothers and coordinates the Called and Gifted Process, helping disciples discern their spiritual gifts. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Pastoral Studies, (MAPS) from Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit. Enjoying all the seasons of Michigan, this mother of two adult children (and gramma of four), spends time traveling, cooking and transforming sacred spaces.

Kristen Van Uden Theriault talks about two books “World is Too Small” and “The Mother Cabrini Companion”.

 

 

Kristen Van Uden Theriault is the author of “When the Sickle Swings: Stories of Catholics Who Survived Communist Oppression.” She has degrees in History and Russian Area Studies, and studies religious persecution in the 20th century. She is the media spokesperson for Sophia Institute Press. She most recently edited “The Cabrini Companion: A Spiritual Journey with a Courageous Woman of God, a compilation of Mother Cabrini’s writings.”
