Fr. Alex Kratz talks about the Holy places in the Holy Land, how they impact our lives, their history.
Father Alex Kratz, OFM, is a Franciscan friar living at St. Benedict the Black Friary (on the grounds of Ss. Peter & Paul Parish [Westside] in the Archdiocese of Detroit). Fr. Alex served for almost 4 years as Associate Pastor at St. Michael’s in Southfield. He has served on the Archdiocesan Evangelization Team from 2006-2009 and 2012-2014. As the Spiritual Director of Terra Sancta Ministries, he oversees St. Joseph Chapel and the Shrine of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in Pontiac where the ministry is headquartered. Father assists St. Colette Parish in Livonia on weekends. Fr. Alex enjoys reading about history and spirituality, and watching World Cup soccer and Notre Dame football.

Dr. Dan Osborn, S.T.D., Diocesan Theologian, Coordinator of Permanent Diaconate Formation and Ministry Bishop’s Delegate in Ecumenical and Inter-Faith Relations, Diocese of Saginaw
Dr. Osborn served the underprivileged as a lay missionary in seven countries before earning a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and a Doctorate in Systematic Theology from the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas (the Angelicum) in Rome, Italy. He also holds a Master’s in English from the University at Buffalo. Dr. Osborn, his wife, LeAnne, a teacher at St. Brigid of Kildare School in Midland, and their two daughters are members of St. Brigid of Kildare Parish
