Gary Michuta offers some ideas to parents to help their adult kids revert.
Gary Michuta is a nationally known Catholic speaker, author, and apologist. He was the director of Thy Faith, Inc., a non-profit lay-run Catholic apologetics apostolate and editor of its magazine Hands On Apologetics. Gary has written several books on apologetics including Why Catholic Bibles Are Bigger: The Untold Story of the Lost Books of the Protestant Bible (Catholic Answers Press, 2017; Revised Second Edition), How to Wolf-proof Your Kids: A Practical Guide to Keeping Your Kids Catholic (Grotto Press, 2009), and The Gospel According to James McCarthy (Grotto Press, 2003). His latest book, Making Sense of Mary (Grotto Press, 2013), helps non-Catholics and Catholics better understand and appreciate Mary’s role in God’s perfect plan of redemption. Gary has debated prominent anti-Catholic apologists and teaches online middle school and high school classes in apologetics for Homeschool Connections. He is frequently a guest on such programs as Catholic Answers Live, the Son Rise Morning Show, Catholic Connection with Teresa Tomeo, Kresta in the Afternoon, and EWTN’s Deep in Scripture and The Journey Home. Gary lives in south-east Michigan with his wife Christine and their three children.

Heather Gardner recaps the 40 Days for Life closing events and the vigils that are still happening.
Heather always considered herself pro-life but never knew there were people who prayed outside abortion facilities until she became a student at Texas A&M University and was invited to attend a prayer vigil. The vigil was held outside the local abortion facility by the Brazos Valley Coalition for Life in Bryan, Texas—the birthplace of 40 Days for Life and where former Planned Parenthood director Abby Johnson was converted. She got increasingly involved and eventually served on staff for the Brazos Valley Coalition for Life and later became Executive Director of the Central Texas Coalition for Life in Austin TX.
Over the last decade, Heather has trained thousands of volunteers locally, nationally, and internationally to be sidewalk advocates and pregnancy center client advocates. In 2019 she even had a cameo in the major motion picture Unplanned, based on the book by the same title.
Heather currently serves as the director of campaign advancement for 40 Days for Life and oversees the “365” locations. She spends regular time on the sidewalks outside abortion facilities reaching out to women and men, praying for an end to abortion, and striving to build a culture of life.
