Adam Perry is the new executive director of Livingston County Catholic Charities and he’ll talk about Salute the the Stars and more.

 

Adam Perry, MSW, LMSW, started as the new executive director of Livingston County Catholic Charities on February 27, 2023. Adam earned a BA from the University of Michigan, with majors in Psychology and Ancient Civilizations and Biblical Studies with a minor in Community Action and Social Change. In between undergrad and graduate school, Adam served as a Jesuit Volunteer in New York City working with individuals experiencing homelessness. Adam’s MSW is also from the University of Michigan with a major concentration in Management of Human Services and a minor in Interpersonal Practice. Adam previously was employed at Catholic Charities of Southeast Michigan (CCSEM) since November 2019 served as the then Director of the Center for the Works of Mercy, a one stop shop basic need services community collaborative in Detroit. Prior to that position, Adam worked in fund development at CCSEM and was the Director of Christian Service at the Church of the Holy Family in Novi. Among Adam’s other experiences are program development, community collaboration, and the recruitment and supervision of volunteers. Adam currently lives in Southfield, Michigan and is a parishioner at St. Mary’s Royal Oak.
