Segment 1
Fr. Fadie Gorgies talks about Project 25:35 and teaching ancient Aramaic at Sacred Hearth Major Seminary.
Fr. Fadie was ordained in 2018 and currently serves as Associate Priest at Saint Joseph Chaldean Catholic Church in Troy. He is also a part time faculty member at Sacred Heart Major Seminary. Fr. Fadie teaches ancient Aramaic.Â
He serves as a deputized Chaplain for Oakland County jail.
Jail ministry has been the highlight of his ministry because it summarizes the Gospel in a beautiful way especially Matthew 25:35. Hence Project 25:35, founded by Fr. Fadie, aims to put Christ’s words in action.
Segment 2
Deacon Fred Billotto invites folks to the AOD’s Confraternity of Holy Souls.
My wife Serena and I have been married for almost 39 years. We live in Livonia MI and have 5 grown children and six grandchildren. I was ordained a permanent deacon in 2019 and serve at Our Lady of Victory in Northville. After ordination I felt the Lord calling me to full-time ministry. I took that feeling to prayer and eventually discerned it was time to leave my career as an automotive Lead Design Engineer and Program Manager and to actively pursue a position that would allow integration of my work and life as a deacon. The journey led to my current role as AOD Associate Director of Evangelical Charity. I’m also an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Madonna University where I teach a course on the four Gospels.
