Fr. Lawrence Carney talks about his book “Preparation for Total Consecration to the Holy Face of Jesus: How God Draws the Soul into the Purgative, Illuminative, and Unitive Ways”.
Father Lawrence Carney was ordained for the Diocese of Wichita in 2007. He was Chaplain of the Benedictines of Mary, Queen of Apostles from 2013-2022 where he was Sr. Wilhelmina’s Confessor. He is a missionary priest the streets of US cities in cassock carrying a crucifix and a rosary in each hand in an effort to bring souls to the Catholic Church. In 2017, he began the League of St. Martin, a pious association of the faithful that prays for reverence, reparation, and reversion—the chief goals being enrollment in the Archconfraternity of the Holy Face and the Confraternity of the Holy Rosary. In 2022, he was appointed a missionary in Wichita, Kansas.

Adora Kassab Ibrahim shares her memories of Al Kresta.
Adora Kassab Ibrahim is a first-generation Chaldean American entrepreneur with more than 20 years of leadership expertise in the real estate industry, nonprofit sector, and business sector. Adora’s unique understanding of organizational development, nonprofit structures, and corporate culture along with her intense connection to God’s heart give her the ability to respond to the movement of the Holy Spirit and bring creative solutions to the table. Her knack and ability to look at an organization from the 10-thousand-foot view and bring wise counsel to the table is invaluable. She has consulted for international, national, and local non-profits alike. Adora has a servant’s heart and believes the most important resource of any organization are its people.
Adora is also passionate about the feminine genius and holy sisterhood, raising holy children, and intercessory prayer. She resides in Southeast Michigan with her husband of 24 years and their three children. She is currently taking classes towards a master’s in theology.
