Segment 1

Dr. Donald Wallenfang talks about the article he wrote for Unleash the Gospel and the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

Dr. Wallenfang, OCDS, Emmanuel Mary of the Cross, is a Secular Discalced Carmelite and Professor of Theology and Philosophy at Sacred Heart Major Seminary. He received his M.T.S. from St Norbert College and his Ph.D. from Loyola University Chicago.

Adalee Hude wrote a book “Sanctus, Sanctus, Sanctus: An Introductory Latin Missal for Children” and she talks about it.

Wife, mom, illustrator, and Catholic author Adalee Hude was called away from a long career in secular art to use her gifts to serve God. She has done illustration work for Catholic magazines, prayer journals, and Catholic children’s books. She spends most of the day with her very bouncy boy, evenings with her beloved Mr. H, and sneaks into Brightly Hude Studio early in the morning to draw and paint. Respectable quantities of tea may be involved. Outside the studio, Adalee enjoys singing and dancing, and is on a quest to bake the perfect pie.

Conall Hughes and Emily Knuth invite kids to the youth camp and Damascus.

Originally from Rockford, IL, Emily Knuth moved to Ohio in 2017 after she felt a call from the Lord to serve in ministry. She is now in her 7th year as a missionary at Damascus, and serves as the Great Lakes Camp Director. Emily’s passions include forming leaders, working with people with special needs, and leading the youth closer to the Lord.

Conall Hughes is a fifth year missionary with Damascus, and has a passion for revival in parish and family life. He values excellence and creativity in the Church, and believes that every Christian has a part to play. He is serving as the Program Director at CYSC Great Lakes this summer.
