Segment 2

Derek & Ashley Shetler talk about their conversion.

Derek & Ashley Shetler are lifelong residents of the “Thumb” of Michigan where they live with their two children. Together they own and operate a small, family-owned business. Born and raised evangelical Protestants, they surprisingly began to feel drawn toward the Catholic Church. After multiple years of prayer, study, discernment, and discussion with the small handful of Catholics they were acquainted with, they attended Mass for the first time in July of 2022. The family of four was fully welcomed into the Catholic Church at the 2023 Easter Vigil.
