Murphy joined CNS after a two-year stint at Ave Maria University (AMU), where he introduced new branding guidelines, codified and launched new icons, colors, fonts, and even a sonic (audio) brand. Prior to AMU, Murphy rebranded Catholic Charities of Kansas City-St. Joseph, a 140-year-old non-profit serving 1.55M people. For over a decade, Murphy owned Food-Chain Communications, a marketing firm devoted to helping people within our modern food system communicate more effectively. Murphy has won awards for writing, design, advertising, and sales. He has also been published in dozens of journals and websites around the world, conceived and hosted podcasts, guest-hosted radio programs, launched global events, and served as the keynote speaker for over 50 events.
