Monsignor Chuck Kosanke talks about the Basilica of St. Anne.
Pastor and Rector of the Basilica of Ste. Anne de Detroit
Rev. Monsignor Dr. Charles Kosanke was born in northeast Detroit. His education includes a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, master’s degrees in Divinity and Theological Studies and a doctorate in Biblical Theology.
Since his ordination in the 1980s, Msgr. Chuck has served in parishes in the city and suburbs of Detroit, including National Shrine of the Little Flower Basilica in Royal Oak, St. Benedict Parish in Highland Park, Church of Madonna and St. Cecilia Parishes in Detroit, Guardian Angels Parish in Clawson, and St. Regis Parish in Bloomfield Hills. In addition to being pastor and rector of the Basilica of Ste. Anne de Detroit, he is also pastor of Most Holy Trinity Parish in Corktown, moderator of the Southwest Detroit Family of Parishes and regional moderator of the Central Region of the Archdiocese of Detroit.
Msgr. Chuck has extensive experience in Catholic education from elementary school to graduate school as a teacher and administrator. He has been involved in many organizations over the years in various roles. He likes to read, walk, bike, swim, and golf in his spare time. As pastor of Ste. Anne Msgr. Chuck is the chief teacher, spiritual leader, and administrator of the parish. He feels blessed to be the pastor of this wonderful community and is humbled to be called to walk in the steps of Fr. Gabriel Richard.

Jonathan Hess talks about South Eastern Michigan Chesterton Society.
Jonathan Hess is the head of the South-East Michigan Chapter of the Chesterton Society and a convert of five years. He discovered Chesterton’s works in his late teens and this ultimately brought him to the Catholic Faith.
