Fr. Alex Kratz invites us to celebrate Mass for Life and spend a Holy Hour.
Father Alex Kratz, OFM, is a Franciscan friar. Fr. Alex served for almost 4 years as Associate Pastor at St. Michael’s in Southfield. He has served on the Archdiocesan Evangelization Team from 2006-2009 and 2012-2014. As the Spiritual Director of Terra Sancta Ministries, he oversees St. Joseph Chapel and the Shrine of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in Pontiac where the ministry is headquartered. Father assists St. Colette Parish in Livonia on weekends. Fr. Alex enjoys reading about history and spirituality, and watching World Cup soccer and Notre Dame football.

Greg Deja talks about Catholic Foundation of West Michigan award and grant programs.
Greg is an experienced Chief Executive Officer who now serves as the Executive Director of the Catholic Foundation of West Michigan, an independent, 501(c)(3) community foundation serving West Michigan Catholics and endorsed by the Diocese of Grand Rapids and Bishop David J. Walkowiak. The Foundation manages more than 250 charitable funds with more than a $92m of assets under management representing the 11-county area of the Diocese of Grand Rapids. Formerly, Greg served as the Principal/CEO of Grand Rapids Catholic Central High School, the nation’s oldest Catholic, co-ed, diocesan high school. Under his leadership, Catholic Central High School completed a $20M capital campaign in 2018. Greg holds bachelor’s degrees in English and Education from John Carroll University and received the Dr. Francis T. Huck Scholastic Achievement Award in Education. He earned his MA in Educational Leadership from Providence College. Greg and his wife, Caroline, have four children. His hobbies include traveling, grilling, hiking, cycling, music, and literature.

Peter & Debbie Herbeck talk about their book ‘Lessons From the School of Love’
Peter Herbeck is the Executive Vice President and Director of Missions for Renewal Ministries. For more than thirty years, he has been actively involved in evangelization and Catholic renewal throughout the US, Canada, Asia, Africa and Eastern Europe. Peter is the co-host of the weekly television show, The Choices We Face. He hosts the daily radio show Fire on the Earth. He is a frequent conference speaker, has authored When the Spirit Comes in Power, When the Spirit Speaks, and numerous booklets, and is a frequent contributor to Renewal Ministries’ popular YouTube channel.
Debbie Herbeck has shared with many her personal journey of faith from Judaism to Christianity and subsequent entrance into the Catholic Church. For the past forty years, Debbie has worked extensively in youth and women’s ministry, speaking, leading mission trips, and mentoring high school and college age women. She has spoken at Franciscan University Conferences, Legatus chapters, and women’s events throughout the world. She is the founder and executive director of Pine Hills Girls Camp. Debbie is also the founder and director of the Be Love Revolution, a ministry that exists to help young women encounter Christ and be His love to all they meet. She has written Safely Through the Storm: 120 Reflections on Hope, Firmly on the Rock: 120 Reflections on Faith, and Love Never Fails: 120 Reflections on Love. She and her husband Peter have co-authored a book entitled When the Spirit Speaks: Touched by God’s Word. Debbie is a frequent author and speaker for Blessed is She and contributing writer for Undone: Freeing your Feminine Heart from the Knots of Fear and Shame.
