Segment 2
Michael Smith encourages us to attend Huron Valley Catholic School’s dinner and auction coming up this Saturday.
I am one of 6 children who grew up in a Catholic family, blessed by attending Gaylord St. Mary Cathedral School K-12 in northern Michigan. My parents, Dan and Kim, provided us with so much growing up, particularly the gift of faith. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education from Saginaw Valley State University (2010) and my Masters of Arts in Educational Administration from Western Michigan University (2020). I have been married to my beautiful wife Alaina for 12 years and we have 4 wonderful children who we now get to share our faith with. God has blessed my journey in becoming an educator and leading my path to where I am currently the principal at Huron Valley Catholic School in Ypsilanti, MI. I have previously taught at two other Catholic schools, St. Francis of Assisi in Ann Arbor and St. Francis Xavier in Petoskey.
