Segment 2

Fr. Nate Harburg from Good Shepherd reads poems to help us hunger for the Eucharist.

I’m Fr. Nate Harburg, pastor of Good Shepherd Parish based in Ubly, Michigan, within the Diocese of Saginaw. I have 8 amazing younger siblings, including two adopted. I enjoy spending time with my dad, siblings, nieces and nephews. “A few of my favorite things”: Authors Michael O’Brien, Henri Nouwen, JRR Tolkien; hanging out in coffee shops, beer tasting, old classic movies. My favorite hobby is writing poems. On the spiritual side, I love encountering Jesus daily in Eucharistic Adoration, Lectio Divina, the Divine Office, and the Rosary. I Graduated from Franciscan University in Steubenville, Ohio, in 2003, Sacred Heart Seminary (Detroit) in 2011, and was ordained that year. I’m grateful to have the chance to cooperate with the Good Shepherd in His rescue mission to the lost sheep.
