Paul and Kathy Dobrowolski invites us to Peace in the Womb Christmas Carols.
Kathy and Paul Dobrowolski are the directors of a nonprofit organization, Life Solutions of Washtenaw County, as well as the directors of Ann Arbor Sidewalk Advocates for Life, starting the local program back in 2014. SAFL trains, equips and supports sidewalk advocates who reach out to abortion-minded clients to lovingly and lawfully offer them life affirming alternatives.
Before SAFL, they were the directors of Ann Arbor 40 DFL from 2007 to 2014. Kathy and Paul also serve as the Pro-Life couple for their Knights of Columbus council, where Paul is an active Knight. Kathy is the director of the Pro-Life ministry and Church Librarian, and both serve on the Disability Ministry committee, at St. Andrew parish in Saline. They have helped with fundraising and baby item drives for both local pregnancy centers for many years. Kathy and Paul are also currently serving on a committee to secure a mobile ultrasound unit to use at the Ann Arbor SAFL site. Paul also organizes Public Square Rosary Rallies as well as an annual Pro-Life Bridges Day in Ann Arbor.
Kathy and Paul have been married for 37 years, and have 3 sons. They first met after moving to Michigan for jobs, Paul as a medicinal chemist from New York, and Kathy as a microbiologist from Wyoming. They have always been pro-life, but became even more so due to having two sons with special needs – one related to mental health issues and the other to a degenerative genetic syndrome. In their spare time, they enjoy gardening, reading, golf and birdwatching.
We are reaching out to you for help in getting the word out about our upcoming Ann Arbor Sidewalk Advocates for Life (SAFL) training Saturday, April 29, from 10am-4pm, location TBD in Saline. We are hoping to reach and encourage as many people in the community as possible about this exciting opportunity to help save lives and end abortion in our community!
Ann Arbor Sidewalk Advocates for Life has been in existence at the Ann Arbor Planned Parenthood for the past 9 years. Year-round, our Advocates offer a friendly smile, an outreached hand, and real resources, through the peaceful presence and outreach of Sidewalk Advocates for Life (SAFL) outside of local abortion clinics. By the grace of God, our Advocates have been involved in many of the saves at the AA Planned Parenthood, including 23 saves/turnarounds in 2022 and one save just recently last month.
In addition to our local ministry focused on sidewalk advocacy, we have been working with Pregnancy Help Clinic to help bring their Mobile Medical Clinic (MMC) to the Ann Arbor area. Our SAFL Advocates will be directly involved with encouraging and directing abortion-minded women onto the MMC for life-saving treatment.
Our organization needs SAFL Advocates now more than ever as we partner with the Mobile Medical Clinic. The SAFL Basic Training 2.0 that we offer is the most comprehensive sidewalk advocacy training available nationwide as well as proven in its effectiveness. In addition, our ministry offers ongoing support and resources to our Advocates. Ann Arbor SAFL provides a solid base for trained Advocates to offer life-saving community resources, help save lives and end abortion in our community.
