Deacon Joshua Fons share his faith journey, epiphany journey, and becoming a priest in a year.

Deacon Joshua Fons is a seminarian for the Diocese of Lansing, MI. He hails from Ann Arbor, MI. He attended seminary at St. John Vianney College Seminary in St. Paul, MN, and now is finishing up theology studies at Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit, MI. In between his stints in seminary, he spent 4 years serving as a full-time missionary with FOCUS, the Fellowship of Catholic University Students. He is excited to be ordained a priest this coming June 2024.

Christopher Carstens is director of the Office for Sacred Worship in the Diocese of La Crosse, Wisconsin; a visiting faculty member at the Liturgical Institute at the University of St. Mary of the Lake in Mundelein, Illinois; editor of the Adoremus Bulletin; and one of the voices on The Liturgy Guys podcast. He is author of A Devotional Journey into the Mass (Sophia) and, coauthor with Father Douglas Martis, of Mystical Body, Mystical Voice: Encountering Christ in the Words of the Mass (Liturgy Training Publications). He is also author of the forthcoming Principles of Sacred Liturgy: Forming a Sacramental Vision (Hillenbrand Books). He lives in Soldiers Grove, Wisconsin, with his wife and eight children.
