Segment 2
Matt Clark shares his story of being led to the Eucharist.
I am a Michigan native, and I grew up in a small town halfway between Grand Rapids and Lansing. I have been married to my wife Dana, who comes from a Catholic family, for almost 13 years. We met at Hillsdale College where we were both athletes—I played baseball and she played softball. Since college, I have worked in the Accounting & Finance field, starting in public accounting, moving onto various private corporations, and now being Assistant Controller at Hillsdale College. I grew up in different Protestant churches and was baptized in the Methodist church, before finally converting to Catholicism in 2017.
Dana and I have 6 amazing children—3 boys and 3 girls. Our children are Bentley (11), Lacey (9), Kinsley (7), Ellie (6), Liam (2), and Easton (6 months). My four oldest children attend Queen of the Miraculous Medal School in Jackson, MI. We are parishioners at St. Joseph Shrine in Brooklyn, where we have been attending since 2012.
