Author Sabrina Arena Ferrisi wrote a book about Blessed Carlo Acutis and she’ll talk about this and unique experience while doing research. Roxanna Gronkiewicz is filled with the joy of the Lord and she’ll share the secrets. Alexandre Goodzary was held hostage in Iraq. He’ll talk about this experience and the mercy of God.

Sabrina Arena Ferrisi

Sabrina has been working in the field of Catholic journalism for 17 years. Beginning in the year 2000, she worked as a journalist covering the Holy See in Rome for various American Catholic newspapers, including Our Sunday Visitor, the National Catholic Register and the Catholic World Report. She covered the last four years of Pope John Paul II’s papacy. Beginning in 2000, she also had her own radio show in Italian for Radio Maria commenting on Vatican news for three years. She was the senior staff writer for Legatus Magazine for 14 years and writes freelance for the National Catholic Register and Aleteia. She lives in New York with her husband and five children.


Roxanne Gronkiewicz

I’m Roxanne Gronkiewicz, I am married to a wonderful husband Kevin, have 2 sons and a granddaughter, Marley. I ride a Road King Harley Davidson motorcycle since 2004. 

I am a retired school bus driver/trainer from Utica Community Schools. I started working at St. Pio Parish in Roseville, MI since July 1, 2018 as an assistant to the Administrative Executive to the pastor, also was the Sacred Heart Cemetery Coordinator during the pandemic, was also the secretary of Faith Formation. Graduated from Sacred Heart Major Seminary with my Certification of Catholic Theology on April 30, 2022. I am currently  a Lector at St. Pio as well as lead Bible Study for Adult Formation. Last August 1, 2021 I became the Director of Religious Education and Youth Minister.


Alexandre Goodzary

 

Alexandre Goodarzy, 38, has come a long way. Kidnapped a year ago by a Shiite militia in Baghdad, this volunteer from the SOS Chrétiens d’Orient association spent two months in secret, tossed around from cache to cache, before being miraculously released.
