Patrice Abona returns to Epiphany to talk about being a guest host on the Salty Catholic. Sr. Esther Mary Nickel is first time guest and she talks about what the AOD will be doing to kick off National Eucharistic Revival. Fr. Theodore Parker is another first time guest and he shares his story of being a priest for 50 years and he shares much wisdom. You will want to listen to this interview repeatedly.

Patrice Abona

Executive Director, Eastern Catholic Re-Evangeliztion Center

Patrice Abona has been Executive Director for the Eastern Catholic Re-evangelization center since 2014, but a long time volunteer for the organization before that.  She is happily married to her husband Emil and has 4 children under the age of 5!

Sr. Esther Mary Nickel

Sister Esther Mary Nickel, RSM, Ph.D., S.L.D. is a member of the Religious Sisters of Mercy of Alma, Michigan.  She has a Doctorate in Sacred Liturgy from the Pontifical Institute for the Liturgy at Saint Anselm’s in Rome.  Her studies fostered a deep appreciation for the liturgical life of the Church.  From 2004-2016 she served the Church as a Professor of Sacred Liturgy and Sacramental Theology at Saint John Vianney Theological Seminary in Denver, Colorado.  She is now the Director of the Office of Sacred Worship in the Archdiocese of Detroit.
