Joe Boggs returns to Epiphany to talk about the article he penned about Mother Teresa. Vickie Figueroa shares what the AOD is doing to celebrate Black History month. Patricia Montemurri is a first time guest and she shares some of her experiences covering the Catholic Church. Tony Frasco and Joe Matthieson of the Rome Boys come back for a visit!

Joe Boggs is a parishioner at St. John the Baptist in Monroe, Michigan where he attends with his wife Bridget. He’s the current President of the Father Gabriel Richard Guild, a local organization that promotes the inspiring life of Fr. Gabriel Richard and his cause for sainthood. Joe also is a high school history teacher and frequently writes historical pieces for the Archdiocese of Detroit.

Patricia Montemurri

Patricia Montemurri is an author and award-winning journalist, who in a decades-long career with the Detroit Free Press specialized in coverage of the Catholic Church. She was in Vatican Square to see the white smoke from the Sistine Chapel signaling the selection of Pope Benedict XVI after the passing of Saint John Paul II, and she covered Pope Francis 2015 visit to the U.S. Now retired from the Free Press, she still contributes freelance pieces. Since 2017, she’s authored four books on Catholic institutions and legendary Catholic figures in Michigan.
