Executive Director, The Chaldean Cultural Center

Born in Baghdad and raised in America, Weam Namou is the executive director of the Chaldean Cultural Center, which houses the world’s first and only Chaldean museum. She’s an Eric Hoffer award-winning author of 13 books, an award-winning filmmaker, journalist, poet, and an Ambassador for the Authors Guild of America [Detroit Chapter]. She’s currently working on her first feature film, Pomegranate.

Alyssa Bormes

Educator, author, speaker, and radio host.

Alyssa currently teaches at the Chesterton Academy, writes for The Catholic Spirit and the WINE blog, is the host of a weekly show Christian Witnesses in the Church on Radio Maria US, and is the author of The Catechism of Hockey. Alyssa is a frequent speaker at WINE events and always an entertaining emcee! (

Kevin ‘Mr. Peace’ Szwala

Kevin Szawala (aka ‘Mr. Peace’) is a National Youth Motivational Speaker,
Hip-Hop Artist & Spoken Word Poet from Metro Detroit, who travels the
country to schools, churches, colleges & youth clubs spreading a
passionate message of peace, love, tolerance, kindness & understanding.
