Epiphany – November 28, 2021

‘And then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory’ Lk 21:27

Sr. Catherine Marie, O.P from the Dominican Sisters of Mary Mother of the Eucharist talks about this order and more. Fr. Dan Kogut gives us tips for a fruitful Advent and invites us to unite in prayer. Teresa Tomeo shares a story of an Italian company that incorporates faith in their work.

Sr. Catherine Marie

My brother, sister and I were raised by faithful Catholic parents in Bakersfield, California. While attending UCLA where I majored in International Development Studies, I also started delving deeper into my faith and began working in youth ministry. Through the witness of young high school students I learned how to discern a vocation and soon found myself looking for a convent where I could live my life for Him alone! I entered the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist in 2005, and made my final vows in 2013. During my time as a Sister I have been blessed to teach grades 5-8, to work in our development office, and to serve as the principal of an elementary school in North East Detroit for 7 years. Currently I live at the motherhouse in Ann Arbor, Michigan where I serve as prioress.
