Beth Allison

Parish Engagement Coordinator at St. Aloysius in downtown Detroit.
Her role includes parish and young adult outreach, social media, volunteer coordination, and programming for group tours of our beautiful church. She comes from a background in interior design and youth ministry. Outside of ministry Beth can be found traveling the world and using her creativity in any way she can. The Holy Spirit has led her to serve on over a dozen mission/immersion trips, discover a heart for young people and the marginalized of our One Human Family, and recognize that life in Christ is truly a wonderful adventure!

Teresa Tomeo

Teresa Tomeo is an author, syndicated Catholic talk show host, and motivational speaker with more than 30 years of experience in TV, radio and newspaper, 20 of which were as a secular reporter/anchor in the Detroit market. In the year 2000, Teresa left the secular media to start her own speaking and communications company, Teresa Tomeo Communications, LLC.
Her weekday morning radio program, Catholic Connection, is co-produced by Ave Maria Radio in Ann Arbor, Michigan and the EWTN Global Catholic Radio Network. It is heard on over 500 Catholic radio stations worldwide and on the Sirius Satellite Network. Teresa appears frequently on the EWTN Global Catholic Television Network, and co-hosts the EWTN television series, The Catholic View for Women. In 2019, she opened her own Italy travel consultation company, T’s Italy, and in 2020 created “T’s Teatime,” providing positive and inspirational blogs and videos to uplift people during difficult times, and encouraging others to spread the message of hope to the culture.
Teresa has written more than 10 books, is an international speaker, where she addresses media awareness and activism, as well as sharing her reversion to the Catholic Church. She resides in Detroit, Michigan with her husband, Deacon Dominick Pastore. They travel the world giving marriage and diaconate couples’ retreats.
Kelly Wahlquist

Kelly Wahlquist is a Catholic speaker and author. She is the founder of WINE: Women In the New Evangelization, and Director of the Archbishop Flynn Catechetical Institute. She’s the author of Created to Relate: God’s Design for Peace & Joy, and her latest books, Walk in Her Sandals and Gaze Upon Jesus are innovative collaborative works that allow women to relate to Jesus in the way in which they were created to—as women.
Colleen Vermeulen

Director and Instructor at the Catholic Biblical School of Michigan
Colleen Vermeulen joined CBSM in 2016 as an instructor in Year B and proceeded to become the Director in 2018. Her personal motivation for teaching is to connect people to the Scriptures so that they can listen and respond to God’s Word. When people encounter God in the Scriptures, the Holy Spirit takes care of the rest! Colleen seeks to help her students dig into the real life history of the New Testament in order to ground their faith and give them credibility when sharing the Bible with others.
