Anthony DiCarlo breaks down what Physics is and is passionate about teaching children. Peter Herbeck encourages us to fear the Lord and explains why and how. Fr. Charles Fox returns to Epiphany to talk more about our Blessed Mother.

Anthony DiCarlo is an Associate Member of the Institute for Advanced Physics (IAP), a research and educational outreach organization dedicated to grounding and advancing modern science in a balanced fashion that does not leave behind the correct philosophical foundations, nor the proper moral and spiritual components.  Anthony has been a member of the IAP since 2011, and he is heavily involved in its various educational outreach and curriculum development projects.  He is also a high school math and physics teacher since 2010, and he has received various awards in his work as a teacher including Teacher of the Year and IAP Accredited Teacher.  Anthony lives in South Carolina with his wife and five children.

Peter Herbeck

Peter Herbeck is the Vice President and Director of Missions for Renewal Ministries. Peter oversees the work of lay mission teams throughout the world who work to equip Catholic lay people, bishops, priests, and religious to respond to Blessed Pope John Paul II’s call for a new evangelization. He has traveled extensively in the U.S., Canada, Africa, and Eastern Europe for the past thirty years, assisting and training local churches in proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ and ministering through the exercise of spiritual gifts. Peter is the co-host of the weekly television show The Choices We Face, and the host of the daily radio show Fire on the Earth

He is a frequent conference speaker, and the author of books and audio tapes about discipleship and life in the Spirit. He has authored a book entitled When the Spirit Comes in Power and co-authored When the Spirit Speaks, Touched by God’s Word, with his wife Debbie.

Peter holds a B.A. in Philosophy from St. Thomas University in St. Paul, Minnesota and an M.A. in Theology from Sacred Heart Seminary in Detroit, Michigan.

Peter and his wife Debbie have four children, 10 grandchildren and are members of Christ the King parish in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Fr. Charles Fox

Vice Rector and Dean of Seminarian Formation, Sacred Heart Major Seminary

Father Fox was ordained to the priesthood in 2006. He then served in two parish assignments, as Parochial Vicar at Our Lady of Sorrows Parish, Farmington, MI (2006-07) and in the same position at St. Hugo Parish, Bloomfield Hills, MI (2007-09). He was then appointed as Secretary to Archbishop Allen Vigneron, and served in that assignment from 2009-2013. After four years completing his licentiate and doctoral studies, as well as serving on the seminary’s formation faculty for two years, Father Fox joined the Sacred Heart faculty full-time in 2017 as Director of Graduate Seminarians, Director of the Liturgy, and Assistant Professor of Theology. He also began at that time teaching courses in Homiletics and Sacramental Theology.

Father Fox has served as the weekend assistant at St. Therese Parish in Shelby Twp., MI, since 2017. He has also served as a board member and spiritual director of the St. Paul Evangelization Institute (includes St. Paul Street Evangelization). In recent years, he has also served as a board member of St. Catherine of Siena Academy in Wixom, MI and as spiritual advisor for the Living Faith/Fine Arts Apostolate (The Cross and the Light). He has been a regular contributor to Catholic World Report and Detroit Catholic, and has published articles for academic journals on the subjects of Homiletics, Sacramental Theology, the New Evangelization, and Church History.
