The State of Michigan has adopted a resolution to recognize September 24 as a day of prayer, fasting and humiliation to bring healing to our nation. It’s part of an effort spearheaded by Acts XXIX and Fr John Riccardo, who joins us looking at how we can pray for God’s mercy on our land and the healing and conversion of our hearts.

The 2020 Tour de France, delayed from June due to COVID, is entering its final week. It’s OK if you haven’t been following it; data shows that American interest in the race has nosedived since Lance Armstrong’s fall from grace. Armstrong’s admission to doping during an Oprah interview in January 2013 shocked the world, but to some it was no surprise at all – including his former friend Betsy Andreu. We spoke with Betsy back in 2012, when Armstrong was still vehemently denying the charges and making personal attacks against her. Today we look back on that discussion with Betsy – what happened and how her faith sustained her.
