Barrett is a committed Catholic who clerked under the late Justice Antonin Scalia. California Senator Diane Feinstein grilled Barrett, declaring, “You are controversial. You have a long history of believing that your religious beliefs should prevail,” adding “When you read your speeches, the conclusion one draws is that the dogma lives loudly within you.” Matthew Bunson joins us to discuss the increasing hostility toward Catholics in public office.
