29 people in the US alone rose before dawn on Saturday to watch the Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. TIME magazine praised the “step forward” for the monarchy and the fashion industry around the world will be impacted by the style of the bride’s dress. But we’re interested in how local Catholics are responding, and we’ll talk with Joanna Bogle.

4:20 – Pentecost and the Power to Evangelize

On Sunday we celebrated Pentecost. The Holy Spirit empowered the apostles to go out and spread the Good News to all nations. Pentecost offers us a reality far greater than our own attempts to share God’s love and invite others to share in the victory of Jesus. Dr. Mark Giszczak joins us with more.

5:00 – The Monks of Tibhirine will be Beatified

On the night of March 26, 1996, monks of the Catholic Order of Cistercians of the Strict Observance were kidnapped during the Algerian Civil War. They were murdered on May 21 of that year. This year, Pope Francis officially recognized their martyrdom and paved the way for their beatification. We’ll talk with Brian ONeel and John Kiser.
