4:00 – House Passes Historic Stimulus Bill 

The massive economic stimulus bill is headed to President Trump’s desk after final passage by the House. It is the largest economic rescue package in American history. The House tally was done by a voice vote of members in the House chamber, so it will be recorded as unanimous. All members were not able to get back to DC due to logistical and health concerns related to the coronavirus crisis. Richard Rubin has more.

Fr John Zahm was a Holy Cross priest and scientist who served as vice president at the University of Notre Dame, He argued that Roman Catholicism was fully compatible with an evolutionary view of biological systems, an idea that was rejected and led to censure. Test conducted at the request of the Museum of the Bible have revealed its entire collection of Dead Sea Scrolls fragments are forgeries. The Museum has decided to leave the forgeries on display, with an update exhibit explaining the situation and how the ancient documents are studied. We get the details from Gordon Govier.
