4:00 – Turkey wants to keep American Pastor behind bars for life
Turkish prosecutors have demanded life imprisonment for jailed US pastor Andrew Burnson, who was arrested in October 2016 and accused of being a part of the Islamic movement led by Fethullah Gulen, who is accused of orchestrating the failed July 2016 coup attempt. Neither pastor Brunson nor his lawyer have been allowed any access to the documents being used against him. We’ll here the details from Derya Little.
