Talking about the “Things That Matter Most” on March 19, 2018

4:00 – Red Rose Rescue Protestors Sentenced

Monica Miller and her fellow Red Rose Rescuers have received their sentence. In addition to paying fines, they must pay restitution to the abortion clinic. They may not have contact with each other or go within 500 feet of an abortion clinic for the next year. Their attorney, Rob Muise, joins us to discuss their plans.

4:20 – Feast of St Joseph – Who was he?

Today is the Solemnity of St Joseph, the Husband of Mary. He’s one of our most popular saints and one of the most important people in the New Testament, and yet the Scriptures mention very little about him. The gospels mention him by name only 15 times and he is never directly quoted. Who was he, and how did he become so popular? We’ll talk with Sandra Miesel.

5:00 – Social Science Apologetics: The Cognitive Differences Between Men and Women

The neuroscience community had largely considered any observed sex-associated differences in cognition and behavior in humans to be due to the effects of cultural influences. Dr Greg Popcak joins us with more.
