Talking about the Things That Matter Most
4:00 – The Royal Priesthood of the Laity
The Church has long taught that all baptized Christians share in Christ’s royal priesthood, and that we are “a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s own people,” who should “declare the wonderful deeds of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.” What does that mean for the Laity, especially in this time of crisis? We’ll talk about it with Fr Michael Sweeney.
4:40 – The O Antiphons as Catechesis on Salvation History
This week we began the O Antiphons, the short chants used during Vespers to help prepare us for the final days of Advent. They are deeply set in scripture, history and tradition and we’ll look at how they serve as a catechesis on salvation history with Gregory di Pippo.
5:00 – Kresta Comments: Joe Biden “Redefines” Catholicism?

Lucy Scholand joins us with thoughts on how we can meet Jesus every day.
