On June 10, 2019, the Vatican’s Congregation for Catholic Education issued a new document to provide Catholic educators guidance on dealing with the gender issues being broadly debated in today’s culture. “Male and female he created them. For a path of dialogue on the issue of gender in education” provides a path for dialogue on the controversial issue while maintaining the teachings of the Church on the fundamental differences between male and female in God’s plan.
