On February 3, 1943 the SS Dorchester was struck by a German torpedo in the freezing waters of the North Atlantic. Of the 904 souls aboard, 675 perished. Among them were four ship chaplains, who gave up their life jackets to save other sailors. James Clifford joins us with the story.

But there’s a lesser-known side: Thomas More the Writer. He’s the author of twenty books as well as hundreds of letters and poems, many of them written from prison. Gerry Wegemer joins us.
