Just a few days after Theodore McCarrick was laicized, a second priest came forward accusing him of sexual abuse. Fr. Lauro Sedlmayer says he reported the abuse to three different bishops, but nothing was done. Julia Duin has the details.

5:40 – United Methodist Church votes for Traditional Marriage
Representatives for the United Methodist Church, the largest mainstream Protestant church in America, gathered in St Louis this week to debate whether the Church would recognize same-sex marriages and allow for openly gay clergy. A proposal that would have allowed for these changes was rejected and another proposal to continue the traditional teachings was accepted. This is a watershed moment for the Church and many of the more progressive factions are likely to split off. Pastor Joy Moore was there and she has the details.
