4:00 – What Ireland’s Abortion Referendum is Really About
This year the Republic of Ireland will hold a referendum asking whether it should repeal the 1983 Constitutional Amendment that barred abortion in all cases except when the mother’s life is in danger. In mid-November the Museum of the Bible opened to much fanfare, just a short walk away from the Smithsonian and Capitol Hill. 5:20 – Slowing Down and Savoring the Gift of One Another
In Amoris Laetitia, Pope Francis writes, “Love needs space and time…Time is needed to talk things over, to embrace leisurely, to share plans, to appreciate one another and ot build a stronger relationship. Sometimes the frenetic pace of our society and the pressures of the workplace create problems, at other times the problem is the lack of quality time together, sharing the same room without one even noticing the other.” Tim and Sue Muldoon are here with ideas on how to slow down and savor the little moments with our family.
