Effective July 5 of this year, Fr. Eduard Perrone was temporarily restricted from public ministry due to what the Archdiocese of Detroit called a “credible allegation” of sexual abuse of a minor. At the same time, the Archdiocese maintained that a presumption of innocence remains and the civil authorities have decided not to pursue the case. Fr. Perrone has maintained his innocence from the beginning and recently passed a polygraph test. He joins us.
