On Saturday we celebrated the Feast of St Dominic, Founder of the Dominican Order. He had a special devotion to the Blessed Mother and is attributed with the spread of the Rosary. We look at his life and influence with Thomas Madden.
4:20 – American Killed in Pakistan is Latest Example of the Country’s Blasphemy Law Problem
The United States is urging Pakistan to overhaul its harsh blasphemy laws following the muder of Tahir Ahmad Naseem, an American who was shot and killed while on trial in Pakistan on blasphemy charges. The gunman was heard to shout “He is an enemy of Islam. He is an enemy of Pakistan.” We look at Pakistan’s blasphemy law problem with Raymond Ibrahim, who also discusses the dubious story of a Coptic Christian woman who was kidnapped.
