Dr. Robert Fastiggi is author of “Virgin, Mother, Queen: Encountering Mary in Time and Tradition.” Fr. Robert Spitzer also has a new book, which is “Christ vs. Satan in Our Daily Lives: The Cosmic Struggle Between Good and Evil.”

Segment 1 – Virgin, Mother, Queen: Encountering Mary in Time and Tradition

Dr. Robert Fastiggi, Professor of Systematic Theology, has been at Sacred Heart Major Seminary since 1999. Prior to coming to Detroit, he taught at St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas from 1985-1999. During his time at Sacred Heart, Dr. Fastiggi has taught a wide variety of courses, including, Ecclesiology, Christian Anthropology, Mariology, Trinity and Christology and the Sacramental Life of the Church. He is a board member of the Mariological Society of America and the Society for Catholic Liturgy.

Segment 2 – Christ vs. Satan in Our Daily Lives: The Cosmic Struggle Between Good and Evil

Robert J. Spitzer, S.J., Ph.D. is the former president of Gonzaga University and the founder of the Magis Center, which educates the public about the intersection of science, reason, and faith. He is the chief education officer of the Ethics and Performance Institute, which delivers web-based ethics education to corporations and individuals, and President of the Spitzer Center for Ethical Leadership, which delivers similar curricula to non-profit organizations.
