Segment 2 – National Night of Prayer for Life
The National Night of Prayer for Life is happening December 8th at Our Lady of Good Counsel in Plymouth, MI. Mary Lockwood tells us all about it.

Mary Lockwood has served on the Life Issues committee at Our Lady of Good Counsel for numerous years.  She is a pro-life advocate and in the last 5 years has been involved in stopping human trafficking through various organizations such as Pearls of Great Price and Sanctum House.










Segment 3 – Catholic Foundation of Michigan to Award $138,500 in Grants to Local Nonprofits
The Catholic Foundation of Michigan will award $138,500 in grants to 34 southeastern Michigan churches, schools, and nonprofit organizations during the Foundation’s fourth annual grant awards breakfast on December 7th at the Detroit Athletic Club. Around 150 people are expected to attend, including the businesswomen and men who make up the Catholic Foundation’s board of directors, Founder’s Circle, and the grantee community.

Angela Moloney is President & CEO of Catholic Foundation of Michigan. They inspire charitable giving and assists generous donors in providing for the long-term needs of local Catholic parishes, schools, ministries, and nonprofit organizations. The Foundation serves as the center of Catholic philanthropy in southeast Michigan and helps donors ensure their investments are aligned with Church teaching.
